Account Not Syncing with Microsoft Edge Anymore??

It seems like my account is having issues syncing with the server. After 5 attempts at reaching out to Microsoft support, who have told me to troubleshoot the issue which i had already done and reinstall windows entirely. The same issue persists on multiple devices. When I go to turn on sync, and click enable, the page will blink for a second then say/show "Not Syncing". I tried everything, resetting sync, signing out/back in, repairing Edge, the only progress i've seen was going to edge://sync-internals and clicking "Disable: Clear Server Data".Resetting sync would also be stuck at 0%.

That would show me my profile is "Setting up". But in reality, "edge://sync-internals" would have "Setup in Progress : False". There in red I can see following i highlighted:

Representatives keep saying / making me do the same thing and ignoring the fact that it is a SERVER issue. Or my account being blocked, because when I create a new profile it syncs just fine, but that email is not the one i have office 365 on. I have to use it on this account/email. I was having no issues for years until 3 days ago. I have attached photos for reference.

Please help! I've tried just about everything. Multiple representatives, clean install windows. signing in/out, resetting sync. Repairing edge. Im almost going to give up and use Chrome.

    Regarding to your information I assume that you can't sync your account data in Edge.

    Based on the screenshot you provided, it appears that there has been a problem with your account verification.

    If the issue is occurring on multiple devices and you have already reinstalled the system, it is likely not a local problem with Edge.

    It seems that there is an issue with your account causing this. We cannot handle account-related problems on this forum, but you

    can try changing your account password and logging in again.

    Alternatively, you can try changing your account alias. If the issue persists, you can contact the Edge development team through

    the Feedback feature(Alt+Shift+I)in Edge and wait for them to fix the problem.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply. I have a passwordless account, i use the microsoft authenticator app to log in. Does that make a difference? Should i remove the passwordless account and add a password and see if that works? I just don’t understand because everything else microsoft related (Office 365 subscription), Windows activation , lets me log in totally fine with no issues.

    Any update on this? I submitted extensive feedback to microsoft Edge team and haven’t heard back in over a month i’m still having this issue.

    Facing the exact same issue, after clicking on "reset sync" button was able to replicate the issue on other account as well. I don't know why even ship feature which can break whole account. Sync won't work on different device or different version of edge tested it myself.
    Chrome looking better option right now or Mozilla.

    Some other users also facing same issue but nothing so far over a months now.
