I have read through this thread. First of all, the Copilot app used should be Version 1.24112.133.0This is from MS Store and arrived/was released on 10 Jan. 2025.

If text is copied it will paste into the Copilot text messaging 'box' via Ctrl+V, not via Rt Clk.

One cannot C/P images. Those must use the Upload ImageThe above is in regard to (free) Copilot, not Copilot Pro. I cannot comment on Copilot Pro or differences it may have.

I cannot repro any inability to C/P text into the Copilot app.

    Cheers,
    Drew

Would you Folks please read my post ☝️... Copilot does not have or use a Right Click menu. To C/P into it use Ctrl+V.

It cannot "respond" to what it does not have or use.

You do not have "the same problem". There is no "problem" and there is no Rt Clk menu in Copilot.

I want to be able to copy and paste with my mouse, instead of ctrl + shift + V

That is the way I was doing it before, why stopped working? Is it a bug?

No, there is NO bug❗ Nor is there any inability to Copy/Paste to or from Copilot❗

First of all, Copy/paste is Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V. Microsoft Copilot does not have or use a Right Click menu. To copy from it use Ctrl+C. To paste to it or into it use Ctrl+V.

Paste is NOT Ctrl+Shift+V, it is Ctrl+V.

You all need to accept that Copilot does not use a Rt Clk menu. It interacts via text or voice and ONLY will use the K/B shortcuts Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V to copy paste in or out of it. That's it, that's all.

IF you refuse to believe this ☝️, you can confirm it, for yourselves, by asking Copilot or Microsoft Support and you will receive the same info and ANSWER I have provided three times in this thread.

    Cheers,
    Drew

Hello, I don't understand why I can NOT use the mouse after I copy from Word to paste into the copilot box.

I didn't have any issues in the past but now it doesn't allow me to paste after I copy.

The issue is NOT the mouse, because it works in everything else except with copilot

    Jose
