Improved Copy-Paste gone???

Question

I assume you got rid of this https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/improved-copy-and-paste-of-urls-in-microsoft-edge-d3bd3956-603a-0033-1fbc-9588a30645b4 ? Or at least is not working any longer; it worked last Friday... Stupid things happen over the weekend... like losing all my Word headings shortcut keys and having to do one by one again!!

I see it is there in Edge Settings.

Click 3 dots Edge Settings > Share, Copy, and Paste.

Change to Plain Text and then back to the Link, and let me know if it works.

If it does not help,

Let us try Resetting Edge Settings to defaults using the steps below, in the hope it helps.

Click on the three-dot menu button on the right.

Click on Settings.

Click on Reset settings.

Click on Restore settings to their default values.

Click on Reset.

2nd step: Sometimes extensions on the web browser might cause unintended behaviour. Please click the three dots menu again, and choose extensions.

Click Manage extensions.

Disable all of them for testing purposes, and let me know if it works.

Hi Sumit,

thanks for taking the time to address my concern. I don't have the  Share, Copy, and Paste feature under Settings

I have Version 129.0.2792.65 , and have just noted that my other computer version (129.0.2792.52) shows that option. So I guess none of the fixes you listed will work. I'm on a Mac (macOS Sonoma).

I mentioned the update because, as seen in the screenshot in my previous post, I lost the Share, Copy, and Paste feature under Settings. But the Edge Dev version does work

That is so weird that the option vanished from Edge.

Could you please try to reinstall the Edge Retail version?

I see that the support document mentions Edge(Beta). I wonder if this feature is not released generally. Unannounced features can come and go.
