Hello Andreios and LouisSam,

I found a solution to your problem. It's actually very simple. All that you have to do is:

  1. Open Control Panel
  2. Click Change keyboard or other input methods
  3. Click Formats tab on top
  4. Click Customize Formats/Additional Settings
  5. Click Reset
  6. Click Apply then OK
  7. Restart Computer

Now after restart try opening Task Manager and see if helped. This resetting solved the exact same problem for me.

PS: Microsoft Support always fails and never solves your problem

~Tom

Hi,

a. Did you face this issue earlier?

b. Did you make any recent changes to your computer?

Method 1: Try this. It should help:

Open the Task Manager-> Then click on View-> Select Columns-> Tick **Memory Usage and CPU usage.**Now check if the issue persists.

Method 2: You can also view the usage of memory, CPU, hard disk etc using Resource Monitor in Windows 7 Operating system.

Open Resource Monitor

Resource Monitor is a tool that you can use to monitor the usage of CPU, hard disk, network, and memory in real time.

·  Open Resource Monitor by clicking the Start button . In the search box, type Resource Monitor, and then, in the list of results, click Resource Monitor.   If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.‌

Open Resource Monitor**http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Open-Resource-Monitor**

Refer the following links for more information:

Method 3: Run an online virus scan on your computer by visiting the following link:

Method 4 :You may do a System File Checker (SFC) scan on your computer.

SFC tool scans system files and replaces incorrect versions of the system files by using the correct versions.

To run the System File Checker tool, follow these steps:

1.  Click Start, and then type cmd in the Start Search box.

2.  Right-click cmd in the Programs list, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password or click Continue.

3.  At the command prompt, the following line, and then press ENTER:

sfc /scannow
