When you right click on the adapter choose properties. At the bottom of the properties window there should be a drop down menu that will allow you to enable or disable a device. Post your results for future assistance. I would ask you if the absence of the enable and disable feature is missing from all devices or just the display adapter?

I've tried looking in properties no option for enable or disable in device usage but when you look at other devices there is the enable or disable option, puzzeled by all this. When you just right click on device I'm afraid to try and uninstall it. Yet maybe my only option then try and reinstall it.

Reason I need to use onboard graphics is I my old onboard video my ATI Graphics card wouldn't run correctly anymore.

    any other suggestion to try?

    Oscar..
