    Try this:

Right click a blank area on the desktop.  Left click Personalize, Display settings.  In the Monitor window that opens you should see your two monitors.  Find out which is which by clicking Identify Monitors.  Click and drag the right hand monitor left to the left of the original left monitor and release the drag.  That should change the positions of the two monitors so that the mouse motions should be the way you want them.

Let us know if this helps.

This is not working for me.  I'm in Windows 8 and it's getting very frustrating at having to move my mouse right to left - Especially when I'm trying to drag screens between monitors.  Are there any other suggestions?

I had the same issue -- I had to change the positions of monitors PHYSICALLY (the left one to the right, the right one to the left), and it worked.
