I continue to get this Warning box which appears and disappears constantly.  How to I get rid of this?  It just started several days ago.  Computer is new, no known viruses.

Thank You

Contact the Manufacturer for a Warranty Claim/Advice.

Hi,

Check with your System maker's Support and their forums (if any) for known issues. Sounds

like a hardware issue so check with who you purchased the system from as well as the System

maker's support for warranty claims. The more you try to fix it the more they will claim it is

something you did and its probably not a user serviceable error anyway.

Hope this helps.

I had the same problem with that stupid pop up... I just unpluged the power cord from the laptop (the pop up went away immediatly... THANKFULLY), then unpluged the cord from the laptop to the ac adapter and then repluged everything back in and the pop up didnt come back...

    hope this helps someone =)

I had 2 adapters (apart from the one for the docking station) and that way I could always leave one at work and one at home.  I started getting this message when using the one at home, but usually if I unplugged the cord from the brick and reconnected it, it wouldn't show that message again for a while.

One night, I noticed my computer running extremely slowly - so I ran a virus scan.  Nothing found.  Rebooted, and it wouldn't even get past the BIOS.  The adapter had been malfunctioning (which caused the message) and a surge finally hit just right to fry my motherboard.  I didn't realize it was the adapter at the time, but after the second motherboard replacement I realized it happened both times when using that adapter.  No more problems after using that adapter.

Luckily it was a work laptop so I didn't have to worry about the repairs myself, but if you see this message, DON'T IGNORE IT long-term.  It might be just a need to reconnect the parts, but if you see the message multiple times, replace the adapter or you may damage your laptop.
