434 Disk errors

I have 434 disk errors in the event viewer.  This computer is less than a year old.  How can i get rid of this error?

here is the info it gives on the error (they are all the same)

    Replace the the hard drive. It is starting to fail.

    Ok i lied.  There has been no change.  The disk error keeps getting logged every couple of hours.

    It looks like it may have gone away.  I'll keep an eye on it for a few days to see if it comes back up at all.
