please help,

after installing windows 8 on my laptop,it works very good

but after while it dosen`t read any flash disk i connected it with my lap.

and it appears this in properties in devices and printers

Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware because a previous instance of the device driver

is still in memory.(Code 38)  The driver could not be loaded because a previous version of the driver is still in memory.

I had this same issue with my acer aspire V5 running 8.1. My external drive stop being readable and it gave up this error. I installed new chipset drivers from the acer site, and manually deleted my usb drivers as prompted but now in restart, only the ipad seemed to reconnect. now I'm out a usb mouse too.

i updated my bios and chipset,uninstalled all the USB options you told me,everything worked fine after that for about a week,but dont know what happened suddenly but today i faced the same old problem twice in a single day.what should i do now?i already updated the bios,chipset and uninstalled all the USB options.please help.
