Hi,

My PC is running Windows 8.1 updated.  Last got an automatic update was Sep 24, but the system checked yesterday.  This morning I clicked on check for updates now and got the dreaded red X with error 801901F7.

What is the problem?  What can I do to remedy short of reinstalling software?

Thank you very much

Just tried it at 6:45pm EDT and did not get the error -- so I guess it was a Microsoft error

Hi, I know that your issue has been solved already, but what I noticed is that as soon as I disconnect from wifi and connect via cellular data, I am able to get to the updates. So it seems that my wifi is somehow blocking the updates?

    Thanks.
