I have this problem since 2 years ago, I finally decided to ask for a solution here.

When I press the power button, it shows me an operating system(s) selection menu. It only has 1 item - Windows 7.

Any helps are appreciated. Thanks.

    You might try this

Control Panel /System / Advanced System Settings  / Advanced tab / Startup and Recovery Settings.

Uncheck the Time to Display list of OS's or set the time to 0 directly.

Normally that setting doesn't make any difference if there is only one OS, but since something is glitched, that may make a difference.

    Hello, thanks for your reply.

    1. I don't get any error message during Windows startup.
    1. Yes, but it was about 2 years old(when I was trying to install Ubuntu but it didn't seem to work).
    2. Search the Internet. All I got are removing the other OSs. But I only have one OS(Windows 7) in the list.
    3. Acer Aspire 2410M.
    4. I'm able to see the image I posted. Here is a direct link to that image.

EDIT: Here is a image I found in Internet which represents my problem. But it only has 1 option which is Windows 7. I want to make it boots to Windows 7 directly.
