Im unable to download Microsoft 365 patches from SCCM. Currently we are running SCCM 2006 with Hotfix installed (KB4575789). we have had faced this kinda issue 2 months back and then we had upgraded SCCM version from 1909 to 2006 and installed the Hotfix as per the recommendation from MS. But now we are facing this issue and please see the below error.
Error: Failed to download content id 17699307. Error: Invalid certificate signature
Is anyone facing this issue or any workaround for this error ?
Regards
Vineeth

We are seeing the same issue - running SCCM 2006 with all hotfixes - trying to run ADR:
Microsoft 365 Apps Update - Current Channel Version 2101 for x86 based Edition (Build 13628.20380)
It seems to download some files, but eventually fails with the error:
failed to download content id error invalid certificate signature
Seems to be kinda the same error like back in October
Same problem for me in SCCM 2006 and also in SCCM 2010 envirnments. So I think the problem is not with SCCM, but with Office install files.
Hi,
Thanks for posting in Microsoft MECM Q&A forum.
Uninstalling October 2020 Update (KB4577668) may be a workaround. Or please try to install ConfigMgr 2006 Hotfix KB4578605.
Please refer to:

The issue with the current M365 App update download is not related to the previous issue of the Windows CUs. The current issue is restricted to the latest M365 App update download, is unrelated to any issue in ConfigMgr, and is something we are working to resolve. We don't expect there to be any necessary changes for customers once we resolve the issue.
