We've recently moved to O365, and are evaluating our Volume Licensing. We're going to obviously cancel our office product line with volume licensing, but I have a general question about everything else.
(SQL licensing, Windows Server licensing, etc).
If we've been paying for volume licensing for 10 years, and have all of the previous versions of SQL/Windows Server etc. What happens to our current licenses if we cancel our volume license? Do we "own" the licenses we've paid for up until that point (For example Windows Server 2019 licensing currently) and just would no longer receive licenses for the latest and greatest? Or would canceling our volume license essentially cancel all of the licenses we have?
