I got the same message as everyone else after uninstalling an older version of PlaysTV. By installing the latest version of the software, the message went away. Since I don't need the PlaysTV software [I'm not a gamer] I uninstalled the new version of Plays TV, as well. No more annoying message! FYI, I use Revo Uninstaller [free version] for removing all my software. I have no affiliation with that company. I'm just a satisfied user. Many programs leave remnants behind in the registry and on your hard drive when you only use the normal uninstall method. Revo Uninstaller will find and remove these remnants for you.

Don't blame the Microsoft people. This problem is caused by poorly written third party [PlaysTV] software, that does not uninstall properly.

This is an error that consumers are getting when booting up Windows and they don't know why (and this was made clear by multiple responses before you replied). It is not a tech question about debugging.
