Windows 10; File Explorer; Availability Status:Error

Windows 10, File Explorer a selection of Documents and Pictures have picked up a Red circle with a cross inside. File details lists the following comment. "Availability Status: Error" What does this mean, how do I correct or remove this Error status?

    I was also experiencing this issue and looking for help.  I had red "Xs" on hundreds of files (images) and was unable to transfer these images to a flash. I wanted additional instructions on how to do the reset, as well. My one drive was full.  I could not find any other account settings that looked incorrect or info that had changed.  I increased the storage capacity and those files are syncing as I type and the "Xs" have changed to the syncing symbol, albeit incredibly slowly:/  I hope this is correcting my issue.  Will update if it does not.  Thank you:)

    I was having the same issue. The following fixed it for me

    1. Go to Folder and Search options in Explorer
    2. Check options for showing hidden files and system files

    This time i could see the unsynced file. Delete or cut and paste the file again to sync
