If you can play an MP3 file located on EHDD but fails to copy or move them with an error, then try the things I mentioned. If a file is good and can be read or used, then it sure can be copied or moved.
Then here is what I see. I see file 049 to 056 shown no Meta data info in the window.
I also can not tell if you are copying a folder to desktop or all the files direcxtly to desktop.
I also wonder why you do not place them in your music folder and then PIN it or create a shortcut.
Back to the 049-056 files, is this only when it quits copying or moving the files ???
If these files play but will not copy to C:\ OS drive, then I suggest to change the default media player for the MP3 files and then try again to copy or move them.
If these files 049-056 do not play, then they are corrupt.
The MP3 Icon for your MP3 files are not the default Icons for WMP as default player.
I am not sure what media player is default for mp3's, but try changing it to copy or move them.
These drives on this one PC of mine and other PC's I have and thousands I have worked with in 20 years, and I have never not been able to transfer files from one drive to another or PC to PC over any Home or Business networks.
Also, each drive has a system Volume information file that is hidden. There could be corruption in it. That is why I told you to move the file to another folder on the EHDD and then try and copy or move to PC C:\ OS drive.
