Hello,
Unfortunately, you can't enable Hyper-V feature in Windows 10 Home as it is not supported. You need at least Pro or higher edition with 64-bit installation for using Hyper-V.

How can I install Hyper-V on my windows 10 home edition in a verified way ?
You cant use hyper V on window 10 home.
You need Window 10 pro or enterprise to use Hyper V.
If you want to use another Application similar to Hyper V in your home edition then go for Virtual Box.
Thanks

Don't you wish people that didn't know what they are talking about would stop answering tech questions?
Irritating as hell, isn't it?
Create a file, anywhere, using a text editor and copy the following into that file:
pushd "%~dp0"
dir /b %SystemRoot%\servicing\Packages\*Hyper-V*.mum >hv.txt
for /f %%i in ('findstr /i . hyper-v.txt 2^>nul') do dism /online /norestart /add-package:"%SystemRoot%\servicing\Packages\%%i"
del hv.txt
Dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:Microsoft-Hyper-V -All /LimitAccess /ALL
pause
Now save that as hv.bat from your text editor. The desktop or download folder are good destinations for which to save and easily located for the next step.
After exiting the editor, open file manager and right mouse click the file and choose run as administrator.
Once complete it will reboot your machine and you can turn on Hyper-v from programs and features.
I just did. Hyper V can be installed on Windows 10 Home. Follow the instructions in https://www.itechtics.com/enable-hyper-v-windows-10-home/
Can confirm I too just installed it using Hank's suggestions. There are a few more steps to what Hank said, but he included the hard part. the final bit is in turn windows features on/off.
Error: 2
An error occurred while attempting to start the servicing process for the image located at C:.

Please help
Your question is missing sufficient context for anyone to help. We have no idea where you were in the process when you encountered this error. Are you following the steps either I or Hank laid out? If you describe what step you had already completed, and which step you encountered this error, someone may be able to try to help.
There is a typo on line 3 of the script - the filename hyper-v.txt
should be hv.txt
So the line in whole should be:
for /f %%i in ('findstr /i . hv.txt 2^>nul') do dism /online /norestart /add-package:"%SystemRoot%\servicing\Packages\%%i"
Thanks for posting the script - it was a great help! I now have Hyper-V Manager on my Win10 Home machine.
Hey,
am getting the following error when i try for this solution you mentioned. Can someone solve this?
****Error: 0x800f080c**
Feature name Microsoft-Hyper-V is unknown.
A Windows feature name was not recognized.
Use the /Get-Features option to find the name of the feature in the image and try the command again**.
The DISM log file can be found at C:\WINDOWS\Logs\DISM\dism.log
Please see my reply dated Jul 20 2020 at 5:20 AM below. I provide some instructions using only the graphical tools supplied with Windows. Perhaps those will work for you.
Great, guess u helped me out. Almost gave up trying.....
Thanks, now I can able to install and use hyper-v on my Microsoft Windows 10 Home Single Language
but in system information showing below message
"A hypervisor has been detected. Features required for Hyper-V will not be displayed."
What is this means?

Please help
That's actually good news. It simply means that since the system has identified the presence of a hypervisor, it will not show you the list of requirements to install one.
For me, I also had to change the %%i to %i for some reason.
Did you run the file as admin
This does work with windows 11. Note: It will take a few minutes to install and it looks like it is installing the same thing over and over again but it is slightly different.
The corrected script worked flawlessly on a freshly installed WIn 11 laptop. Thank you very much for the script. Uli
You could use Dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:Microsoft-Hyper-V -All /LimitAccess /ALL ,But it doesnt work anymore as microsoft had patched it for home users :(
This script worked but left me with a blue screen after restart... Cannot recommend
Just (as MichaelBurr-9534 said) original script requires little correction.
Make sure text file you create in 2nd line ("hv.txt") is the same file you use in function in 3rd line and finally delete in 4th line.
This change is all that's needed, worked perfectly first try. Im on windows 10 home
How will you revert back the changes made to enable Hyper-V on home edition the step mentioned by Hank Terrebrood.
@zack, just follow the instructions here to disable the Hyper-V feature:

This comment is unfortunate though there is an answer. I do not know some people in this QA try to avoid answer the questions.
Microsoft reference says "The Hyper-V role cannot be installed on Windows 10 Home."
You can upgrade from Home to Pro version.
Did you read my comment right above yours? Hyper-V, and the Management Console which allows you to create VMs, can easily be installed on Windows 10 Home. This apparently was not the case when Microsoft wrote their support document, but is true today.
They modified that in the lastest Windows 10 home update because they needed hyper-v to run WSL2, which is available in W. home. Maybe you can use it only for WSL,. But I saw many reports of people using all the features of Hyper V after the 2020 update...
