Hi,
you can solve this issue doing a Logout from Teams and then login again.
This will flush the client cache and solve this issue.

I'm on a pretty slow internet connection but video calls, sharing screens etc works fine without any problems.
The problem is images sent in chat.
Whenever I send images (by copy pasting them in the chat), I only see them as an icon. Like this:
And when I click on an image sent by me or a colleague, Teams get a bit darker and the icon is shown in the middle (where the image should be)
I run Microsoft Teams, version 1.3.00.12058 (64-bit).

Not only that, but it continues working after reactivating Hardware Acceleration. 😃😄
However logging out and back in did not work...More specific, the following workflow works:
- deactivate Hardware Acceleration
- restart Teams
- enable Hardware Acceleration
- restart Teams
- Images are now loading normaly

SJ 1 Reputation point2022-02-21T22:37:52.703+00:00 This did not solve it for me. I tried clearing the cache, turning off GPU acceleration, and restarting. The problem persists. Teams version 1.5.00.4689 (64-bit) on a Surface Pro running Windows 10 Enterprise.

Clydie Cronje 0 Reputation points2024-07-22T13:37:53.1766667+00:00 I fixed mine by going into control panel, selecting the "change adapter settings" and then on the active adapter, choose properties, deselect the (TCP / IPv6). Restart everything.
