Does Outlook desktop really cannot have google email and microsoft email on 1 profile?
So I have to keep closing outlook and switching between emails?

Cause: This issue occurs when a Google Apps Sync for Outlook account and an Exchange Server account are configured in the same Outlook profile.

Strangely Outlook mobile app does Not have the issue.

    Hi @Ben ,

    Welcome to our forum.

Are you using a normal gmail account or a Google Apps Sync for Outlook account? The article that you post actually points to a Google Apps Sync for Outlook account, which is a special account working with gmail sync tools and there may be any errors when we configure it with other exchange account in a Outlook profile as the article mentioned.

However, if you are using a normal gmail account, based on my tests in Outlook 365, I have tried to configure my personal gmail account(without google sync tool) and personal outlook.com account and Microsoft 365 account in an Outlook profile for testing, and found they all could work normally there, If this is also your case, I think we could configure it normally in an Outlook profile under normal circumstances.

Hope that would be helpful to you.
