The system cannot find the file specified. Error: 80070002

I recently installed Samsung 860 EVO 250GB and it loads OS only. The arrangement is made so that both SSD along with HDD can stay alive. And hence, I replaced CD/DVD writer with existing HDD and installed SSD in place of HDD. But right after that, I started receiving an error on Windows startup.

I did/fixed everything that Google got to suggest. Yes, almost 5-7 methods for eliminating that has been accomplished. But none has solved this issue so far. Therefore, please provide a working solution and it will be appreciated a lot.

    Hi techenthu,

The solution is to basically recreate that file and put an exit script into it

Press the Windows Key + R to open the run dialog

Paste this command and click OK

    shell:startup

Right click in that folder and choose New - Text Document

Put this text in that file:

    Wscript.Quit

Then click File - Save As

At the bottom of the save as dialog, set save as type to *.*

    Save the files as uB83ALflOKgnkFl.vbs

Note you must enter the vbs file extension yourself

    Restart your PC

I recommend the following 2 things:

    Scan using Malwarebytes:

Perform a Windows Defender Offline Scan:

    Hi techenthu,

This may be a file naming issue, in the file name I am unsure if that is a capital i or a lowercase L

Once the file name is correct, and that exit script is inserted, that error will go away . . .
