Admin Issue Needs Correcting

Hi

How do I fix the issue as pictured below?

Admin DefaultAccount should say LaShawn, not defaultuser0

Guest should not be LaShawn as LaShawn should be Admin as mentioned above

When I start up my computer, I'm given the option of two accounts: Administrator or LaShawn

I login as LaShawn. However, I am able to login as Administrator also.

When I go into the Control Panel, User Accounts my LaShawn account is listed as Admin but when I try to use the CMD function I'm told Access Denied. So I assume it's because my account is listed as Guest, as above, despite being shown as Admin (below).

How do I rectify this? thanks

I did take a look at some of the other services. Some of them had greyed out options and some didn't.

I've examined the Task Manager in the past. No problem with anything else I run. Every time this computer has run slow, Updates happened to be downloading. So I believe it's a pretty informed "guess." I was able to stop them and continue working (as it always sped right up). After some update, now I can no longer do this. All the options are now greyed out.

In the Services Manager, all the options are greyed out. (attachment)

Not sure what I'm looking for in the registry but attached it.

You should look at some of the other services too while in the Service Manager. Are they all the same as the Update service?

While in the registry, you need to right-click the service name, then Security. What type of access do you have?

When your PC becomes slow you need to examine the Task Manager and find out which tasks consume a lot of CPU time. Guessing that it might be the Update service is unlikely to solve the problem.

It doesn't do it every night. In the past, I would notice that the computer was also re-started, so I assumed it was update service.

metered connection will not automatically download (the larger) feature updates, it will continue to download small security updates.

in order to get the other updates you would need to either turn off metered connection or check for updates manually - perhaps once a week at the end of the day?

    prompts -

last time it was woken by a usb device (I should have asked you to run powercfg lastwake when it wakes at 2AM, before it goes back to sleep)

turning off the "allow this device to wake the computer" on the network card and metered connection should prevent the other two, leaving just the mouse and keyboard available to wake the computer.

    you could turn off waketimers

Control Panel->Hardware and Sound->Power Options->change Plan Settings -> change advanced power settings

    expand sleep

expand allow wake timers and disable.

please let me know if wakes again tonight.

Could've been auto maintenance as it was set for 2 AM.

My other complaint is that the computer would get real slow, then I notice that Windows Update was downloading some stuff in the background, practically making computer too slow to use. I need it to only do that when I'm not working (like 5 AM). Or maybe the Metered Connection will now fix that?
