Really can't change background color of list form with json?

So I have implemented the "sections" customization of the body of my list form using json. What I really need to do is change the background color of the body. Is it really not an option for the body section? I know SharePoint has a long history of leaving out seemingly no-brainer features or options that devs have had to make workarounds for, but come on already. I know you can go full custom with power apps, I shouldn't have to re-invent the wheel to just make Microsoft's ultra flat contrast-less UI usable.

    Hi @Jeremy B ,

Yes, unlike the header and the footer, body configuration only allows defining one or more sections and adding one or more columns into each of those sections.

When configuring the list form, we cannot use Json to change the background color of body.

As a workaround, we suggest you change the background color of SharePoint form with Fill property in PowerApps, then publish to SharePoint.
