Here's the output I get...
Account isn't showing up when using the net user command
So I'm using the account I want to see info about with command prompt, and it has elevated privileges as well, but when I type in the account name, nothing shows up. So basically it's like this...
C:\WINDOWS\John>net user John
It says that this user name cannot be found. Any help is much appreciated, thank you!

Also have you gone Settings, System, About?

Is it a Microsoft Account or a local account labeled John?
Have you confirmed if the name is the same in the user folder?
Also, the command should be like this(there cannot be \Windows\John)
C:\Windows\system32>
I don't know if you mistakenly typed for illustration.

2019-11-15T06:41:51+00:00 Yes, I typed it that way as an illustration. The account is a domain account, which I probably should’ve specified in the beginning. Yes, I’ve checked the user folder to verify the name, and it checks out. I tried using net user for multiple different accounts and nothing showed up, at least when it came to the domain accounts.
