Here's the output I get...
Account isn't showing up when using the net user command
So I'm using the account I want to see info about with command prompt, and it has elevated privileges as well, but when I type in the account name, nothing shows up. So basically it's like this...
C:\WINDOWS\John>net user John
It says that this user name cannot be found. Any help is much appreciated, thank you!

net user John /domain
Does that work?

2019-11-17T01:24:00+00:00 Hi, I'm David an independent advisor and user just like you. I'll do my best to help you with this.
If you type just "net user" you'll get a list of all the LOCAL account names that your computer knows about - however this won't include domain accounts.
The "net user username /domain" works on my Windows 10 Pro computer and is the correct syntax as given by Sumit. Did you definitely include the space between the username and the "/domain" part?
When this command works it will query a domain controller and report various variables relating to the account.
Regards,
David
