Reset Input Device

I by mistake marked my input device as headset but it is a headphone, so while using it windows just turn off my in-PC microphone causing me problems.So how can i just reset it?

    Click Properties > Change settings > Click the Driver tab > Uninstall Device. Restart your device.

    After restarting connect your headphone and see if it will automatically detect the installation

    If not, then go back to to Device Manager to install it again.

    Press Windows key + R, type devmgmt.msc and hit Enter.

    Right-click on Audio inputs and outputs, select Scan for hardware changes.

    What about mt in-built speakers 

    Can i connect them later on with same process?

    Because If I uninstall device my main speakers will also be uninstalled.

    Yes, just the same process. In additional to, you can also manually download the latest sound driver from your device's website.
