Wifi connection issues

Hello, I have a 1993 toshiba satellite and am trying to connect to my network. However, whatever I do, the computer refuses to connect to the internet. I tried resetting it, forgetting the network, messed around with the DNS, and turned on and off airplane mode. Still it refuses to connect. I even replaced the antenna and the wifi card itself. Still nothing. I am all out of ideas other than the computer is way too old to connect to my router. Any ideas?

    ok, im on my other laptop, but whatever.
    now that i download it, do i just run it?

    it was better, but not good enough
    when i get closer to the router, it connects, but as soon as i move away, it disconnects.
