Screensharing not working in the official MS Teams for Linux

Since sometime last week, screensharing in MSTeams for Linux has stopped working.

I'm on Ubuntu 20.04 with the official install of MS Teams. During a call, the screenshare button is visible but doesn't do anything.

Any ideas?

Problem solved - Administrators have two settings for Guest accounts/users; "Single App" or "Whole Screen" sharing.

It was set to "Single App" which seemed to break screen sharing in Linux Teams entirely. They have now changed to whole screen and it is fixed!

Nope, that didn't work. I also get the problem using Teams in-browser from Ubuntu 20.04.

A screenshot of the debug attached.

There are problems on Mac now also and this IS supposed to be supported, right?
After I turn on screen sharing the first pane is sent to my recipient and then it is not updated after that. If I try to work with more with screen sharing, the fan turns on full bore and eventually the app just hangs except for chat. (Thanks goodness, I can at least tell my audience that I have to quit Teams and start over.) If I try to turn off screen sharing, it disables my audio for the call. If I repeatedly try to turn off screen sharing and then try to quit Teams (so I can restart) it is hung and will not quit. I have to Force Quit it from the Mac OS.
I tried running it and got this behavior. Then I quit the teams client and restarted it and got the same behavior including hang and lost audio. Then I rebooted the system and started the Teams client again and got the same behavior.

I have come up with a work around. I'm using Mint 20 cinnamon and am using the official release for regular teams and the unofficial release for when I have to share my screen out. Its a bit of a pain but it works for now. I guess I can always go back to using cisco webex.
