Email Signature not working

Good Morning! I am having some issues with my email signature. For the past few days it has not been working for any of my reply emails or new emails, and it does not show up in my templates. Is there a reason for this? When I go into my settings it shows and everything is set up correctly. I am not the only one having this issue in the office either. It looks like 2 other people are having the same issue. Thanks!

    Hi @Hailey Warnet ,

Are you using the web version of outlook? There's an active advisory going on at the moment about signature issues.

    EX252201
Title: Users on Outlook on the web are noticing that signatures in email messages aren't showing up

User Impact: Users on Outlook on the web are noticing that signatures in email messages aren't showing up as expected.

More info: Users with email signatures already attached notice that the signature isn't appearing when creating new emails.

Users may also notice that options "Automatically include my signature on new messages that I compose" and "Automatically include my signature on messages I forward or reply to" are appearing as unchecked after refreshing.

Current expected resolution is set for later today. We've had users in our environment experiencing the same issue

If a few people in the office are seeing this at the same time, it’s usually not something you personally did wrong. It often means something changed in Outlook, an update was pushed, or there’s a sync/policy issue.

A few things I’d check first:

Outlook update or restart Sometimes signatures disappear after updates. A full Outlook restart (or even PC restart) can bring them back.

    • Try creating a new test signature If a new one shows up in templates but the old one doesn’t, the original might be corrupted.

    • Check with IT Since others have the same issue, there’s a good chance a policy, add-in, or profile setting changed in the background.

    • Local signature files Outlook stores signatures locally on Windows, so if something cleared or reset that folder, signatures can stop appearing even though settings still show them.

Long term, this is actually why some companies move to centralized signature tools (like MySignature), so signatures don’t depend on local Outlook files or updates.

    Hi @Matthew P !

Yes, I am. Thank you for letting me know that the advisory is out. Hopefully they will fix the issue soon.
