Creating custom display resolution settings

I have a new ASUS gaming Laptop with Windows 10 & the NVIDA GTX 1660 Ti card. I am trying to set up a golf simulator. I'm using a Panasonic projector PT-VZ580 to project onto my screen. The default setting is 1920 x 1080. My screen measures 81 inches in height & 91 inches in width, which doing the math works out to a display resolution of approx 1225 x 1080. Windows 10 does not, at least from what I can find, a method to create custom resolutions. Supposedly my NVIDA card has the ability to do so, but in the drop down menu on their program manager, that ability is missing. I have talked with NVIDA to no avail, now I'm looking to the Microsoft community for help. At the moment, my projection only covers 2/3's of the screen. I would like it to cover all of it. Thankyou

    Hi BillCochrane2,

I'm Rodrigo, Independent Advisor and I will help you.

When you open your Nvidia Control Panel, don't you see this screen? In the "Customize" button, you can set a custom resolution

Hi Thanks for the reply. No that unfortunately is the problem & I have run this by NVIDIA with no real answer from them. When I open up the NVIDIA Control Panel, the only tasks that are showing are the 3D Setting with the 3 sub settings & the Developer Task Setting with the one sub setting. I have all 4 items checked off in the drop down menu at the top of the page. As I mentioned, this problem is on my laptop where I'm missing these particular Tasks. On my Desktop which also has a NVIDIA card, it shows that I have access to all 4 Tasks with various sub tasks, so I know what you are referring to. I don't know if a switch or program has been turned off or that particular feature is not available. I've tried everything to get those 2 tasks to appear, but no luck.

Did you already tried updating your graphics card driver?
What is your processor brand? We can try change settings through you processor video settings.

I see, thanks for the image, it helped a lot to understand better. Your projector is connected to processor video controler, that's why the video settings does not show up in Nvidia control panel. You have to change this setting in AMD Adrenalin software
