I cannot create a minecraft java profile name

Question

I purchased the Xbox gaming service today.

The game asked me to set up an profile, but when I click the "that's me" button, there is no respone.

Please help. Thanks.

I also got the Java Edition for free, but ran into this problem too. Specifically, I have already created a profile, but if I do not log in to the launcher for a long time, the launcher will think that I have not created a profile, and when I create a profile in the launcher, it will prompt that it cannot be created. But I found a solution, just use a browser to log in on the official website of Minecraft and visit https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/msaprofile/mygames/editprofile, then restart the launcher to correctly identify my profile name

Hi,

Using Java Edition is obviously something badly implemented by Microsoft. I don't recall perfectly how I successfully made it works, but I know almost for sure that you have to create a Mohjang's account. After that, you'll have to linked it with your Microsoft's one into the Minecraft's launcher. That step is often really frustrating. It took me some digging into many forums and try a couple of tries to succeed. I even think that I had to uninstall and reinstall the launcher... Not sure, though. I did it many weeks or months ago.

Open as admin helped for me. Exact same issue and all i did is close it and open as admin. Maybe helps u 2 :)
