fail to install .net framework in window 7 sp1

Question

i have failed to install any version of .netframework in my fresh install win 7 pc. anywhere to help?cant update thru windows update.

I'd verify system and servicing health by running;
sfc /scannow

also system update readiness tool

Then check for errors in;
%SYSTEMROOT%\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log

also check that it is patched fully

Hi,
Click Start, type Programs and Features in the Search box, and press Enter

Look down the list for "Microsoft .NET Framework ..." (or type Framework in the Search box at the upper right of the Programs and Features window) and see what version, if any, is installed.

If you need .NET Framework 4.0, go here:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17851
Read at least the "System Requirements" and "Install Instructions." You probably should read "Details" as well. If you want the standalone installer (which is a large download) instead of the web installer, read the "Related Resources."
