I keep getting emails with a single use code, every day there is 3 or more. I don't click on anything because I haven't asked for any help. I use Gmail for my emails. I have tried phoning m/soft but I just get a message saying the number has no roads??? I can not find an email address to contact anyone.

Is this spam or someone trying to hack my account.

hi, first let me say thanks for being patient ( I promise I am not a blonde)

I tried a few times and in the end I sent the code to my phone and started over with the code that was sent and was ble to change my password but then it asked me to log in and I got a message saying I was now blocked because I had tried too many times.

    Hi,

Please do not try to sign in with your account for some time, or 24 Hours. Since the system detected an unusual sign in repeated attempts, it temporarily blocked your account.

Please sign in with your new password after 24 hours and see if you can log in again.

If not, you can try the account reinstatement form to unblock your account.

This explains why you are getting these codes.

    Troubleshooting unrequested verification codes

    Quote

If you received a Microsoft verification code that you did not request, it could be because:

    • Someone is trying to access your account.
    • Someone accidentally entered the wrong phone/email when trying to sign in.
    • Delivery of the code you requested some time ago was delayed.
