Hibernate Enabled but Timed Hibernate Not Working

My Windows 11 system used to hibernate after timeout. But some time in the last month or so, that no longer works. Sleep timeout still works.

Hibernation appears in the Start menu, and when selected the machine does hibernate.

However, hibernation no lonter appears in Power Options / Advanced Settings,

even though Power Options / System Settings has it turned on:

Hibernate timeout can be set using powercfg,

and hibernate shows as enabled in the registry,

but the system does not hibernate after the selected time.

Any suggestions?

    Hi, Bench -

Hibernate is still working, so you can consider the (paraphrase issue) solved.

Before replying, I was waiting to decide whether to use the Repair Upgrade fix to try to solve another, unrelated weird issue with my Windows system. But I got other help and am now waiting to see if that one stays fixed.

Sorry for the delay, and thanks again for your help.

    Best,

    Walt
