Can Windows 11 create a disk image backup using the "Backup and Restore (Windows 7)" application in the control panel? So Windows 11 backup using the Windows 7 application! The application is there in the control panel, nothing prevents its use. I tried on a laptop and then on a PC, it didn't work. The error message: "The RPC server is unavailable (0x800706BA)" The RPC server starts automatically and was running at the time of the error. The disk image creation failed

B&R is not the only app that makes backups, nor is it the best.
The commercial backup industry has developed home user versions of the same image software they sell to large organizations. If you're familiar with B&R, you'll have no trouble catching on to these apps. And these apps can do lots of things that B&R never did, that will make backing up and restoring much more convenient and secure.
