    Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    This is a widely reported bug in the 24H2 update, currently there is no fix or workaround except for resizing the File Explorer window, Microsoft have acknowledged this bug and indicate a patch for this bug will be released in an upcoming update, we just need to wait for that patch to be released.

    If you need to see or use that menu then you will need to take File Explorer out of Maximised and move the window down.

    Alternatively go to screen settings and set the scale to 100% that should make the menu pop down as it did previously. Use the menu and reset the scale when you have finished. (the text may be hard to read though)

    @chandandas3025,

    There is an easy solution, but Microsoft is ignoring the FBH reports.

    The problem was added when they enabled an experimental feature that was supposed to fix a completely different problem.

    As a result, instead of fixing what they were trying to fix, they ended up adding this ridiculous bug.

    This is the culprit for this bug and unfortunately it is enabled in the ImageDefault of all 24H2 builds and also Canary.

    All you need to do is disabling this useless attempted fix and that eliminates the 3 dots menu annoying bug. 😉

    This is becoming the most ridiculous bug, and Microsoft is completely ignoring that it was added when they enabled this useless attempted fix which doesn't fix anything at all. 🤣🤣🤬🤷‍♂️

    You can see here that it opens correctly when that feature/fix is disabled, even with Scale of 150%. 😎😉

    There is a workaround, but MS is ignoring it because they are the ones that added the stupid bug. See my last post above. 😂🤷‍♂️

    Also, the moderators keep removing the cause of the problem and the workaround from my posts. 🤣🤬

    Just drop your scaling down by 5% increments until the menu drops down. You don't need to go down to 100% My scaling was set at 150% and I dropped it down to 145% and it worked fine. I have done this on many computers with different initial scaling percentages..
