Just drop your scaling down by 5% increments until the menu drops down. You don't need to go down to 100% My scaling was set at 150% and I dropped it down to 145% and it worked fine. I have done this on many computers with different initial scaling percentages..

That is a bad idea, changing the scale also rearranges all the desktop icons.

Much easier disabling the useless feature id below. 😂🤷‍♂️

No choice here for 145%, how did you change it to 145%

Did you use this Custom Scaling? I tried 145% and all my desktop icons get rearranged. 😂

As you said it fixes the 3 dots menu bug, but I like my solution better. 😉🤷‍♂️

These are the normal available scales.

Here, now it works fine with Scale of 150%. 👌

Use custom scaling. Hit the arrow to the right of the scaling box. I use auto arrange for my icons on my desktop so I wouldn't have noticed the change. I'm sorry about that.

    Yes, I tried custom scaling.

Seems that any scaling that is not in the standard settings eliminates the opening upwards of the 3 dots menu.

Unfortunately, the desktop rearrangement is a worse problem than the 3 dots menu issue.

I prefer my workaround, fixes the bug without any side effect problem. 😉

Were you able to go back to your original scaling and have your icons go back to their original locations?
