Thanks for posting in Q&A platform.

Please try the following methods to see if the issue can be resolved.

Setting the following services to Automatic (Delayed Start) and restarting Windows:

A. Press the Windows Key and R at the same time to bring up the Run dialog.

B. Type services.msc in the Run dialog and press Enter.

C. For each of the following services, locate the service in list, right-click the service and select Properties. Then set the Startup type to Automatic (Delayed Start) and select Apply.

• Computer Browser (Browser)
• Function Discovery Provider Host (FDPHost)
• Function Discovery Resource Publication (FDResPub)
• Network Connections (NetMan)
• UPnP Device Host (UPnPHost)
• Peer Name Resolution Protocol (PNRPSvc)
• Peer Networking Grouping (P2PSvc)
• Peer Networking Identity Manager (P2PIMSvc)

If you are prepared to generate and share some trace data then we will perhaps be able to understand what is happening. I would suggest capturing ETW events for the Microsoft-Windows-FunctionDiscovery provider and network packets.

The Microsoft-Windows-FunctionDiscovery events show the steps taken to discover resources:

The network packets show the actual protocol mechanisms and results:

If you are willing to make a trace, then just let the forum know. The first piece of information that we would need is which version of PktMon you have. If the output of the command "pktmon start help" looks like that below then you have the newest version - the information is needed to correctly construct the command(s) to capture the trace data.

[--pkt-size <bytes>] [--flags <mask>]]
[--trace --provider <name> [--keywords <k>] [--level <n>] ...]
[--file-name <name>] [--file-size <size>] [--log-mode <mode>]

my windows 10 computers do not see my network but my android phone can see my laptop but not my desktop on the same network.
