Microsoft Authenticator

I have a Windows 11 PC and an iPhone. I use iCloud Keychain as the password manager on both devices. I want to use Microsoft Authenticator (MSA) as the 2FA ap on both devices. How do I do that?

I have downloaded the MSA ap on my iPhone. I have set up my MS account to be passwordless. But I'm having trouble getting other sites to use the MSA for 2FA... they all want to use iCloud Keychain's codes.

In my iPhone Settings--> Passwords--> Password Options I have the following selections:

Autofill Passwords and Passskeys--> Yes

Use Passwords and Passkeys from:--> iCloud Keychain (other choice is MSA)

Verification Codes--> Delete after use--> Yes

Set Up Codes In--> iCloud Keychain (other choice is MSA)

    Hello,Praye

    Thank you for posting in the Microsoft community.

    I understand that you want to use Microsoft Authenticator for dual authentication on your Windows 11 computer and iPhone, but are having trouble trying to get other sites to use MSA. I understand your frustration. As you can see, there is no Microsoft Authenticator section in the Answers community at the moment because Microsoft has created a special section for Authenticator users who are having problems with the program.

    For your convenience, I will direct you to the appropriate section, specifically designed to provide support for issues encountered in the Authenticator app, where experts provide professional solutions and users share their ideas and experiences.

    Microsoft Authenticator - Microsoft Q&A (English only, you can use a translation tool to help you communicate).

    You can ask specific questions and share your thoughts by clicking Ask a question in Microsoft Learn, and hopefully your questions will be handled appropriately by contacting the right department.

    Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

    Best Regards,
