changing windows display language

i am a master student in china , i just bought a new laptop. but the defult windows language is chinease and it won't allow me to change it! i do not want a chinese language i can not work with this lap top. i want the english language, what should i do????????????

Hello，

Right-click the Start menu and choose System. After it is opened, you can view the Windows specifications.
If your system Edition is Windows11家庭中文版, this means that your system display language can only be Chinese.

If your system Edition is 家庭中文版 , and you want your system display language to be English, you can consider the following two methods.
1、Open system Settings, System, Activation. Upgrade to Windows11 专业版.
2、Reinstall Windows11 家庭版 (Not Windows11 家庭中文版) . The 家庭版 and the 家庭中文版 are different Edition, which means you will need to purchase a copy of the home Edition activation.

If your system Edition is not 家庭中文版, please take a screenshot and let me see what errors you have when setting the language.

I had the same issue with the Single Language version, but I upgraded successfully.

The system you purchased is likely Windows Home Single Language, which doesn’t support multi-language packs.

To fix this, just upgrade to the Pro version. First, buy a Windows 11 Professional license (the most expensive version).

Click on “打开Microsoft Store” in the screenshot,

The option to purchase the upgrade will appear in the Microsoft Store.

and even if i want to pay i cannot becuase i am in china!!!!!!
