Entra Joining Issue

I have a laptop i want to add to our Entra, i go to add work/school type in an admin based email which has work before for Entra enrollment click next enter the password click next it says one moment this flashes three times and then ask me to pick an account showing the very account i have just used to try and registered with Entra i select this account again and it comes straight back asking to pick the account again i cannot add a PC to entra as all of my admin accounts do the same thing your help would be appreciated.
