    Sorry for the delay in reply. I've been offline.

    Thanks for the clarifications.

    The error 0x800f081f usually occurs due to a component store corruption.

    The best procedure to fix this is the In-place Upgrade. The In-place Upgrade reinstalls Windows, which helps to fix problems.

    But don't worry. It's a simple procedure, and you have the option to keep files, settings, and apps. Therefore, all your data is kept.

    (Temporarily disable Malwarebytes during the entire procedure.)

    Instructions below:

    1. Download the Windows 11 ISO file from the link below;

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

    1. Double-click the ISO to run;
    2. On the "Install Windows 11" screen, uncheck "I want to help make the installation of Windows better" and select "Change how Windows Setup download updates";
    3. On the next screen, select "Not right now" and click "Next";
    4. Accept the terms of use;
    5. On the "Ready to install" screen, select "Choose what to keep" and select what you want to keep.

    (It is in this step that you must check "Keep personal files and apps" so that all your data is kept.)

    1. Click on "Install" and wait for the procedure to finish. Your computer may restart several times.

    At the end of the procedure, your Windows 11 will be in the latest version (23H2), and the update may already be installed. But check Windows Update to be sure.

    If you get any errors, let me know. Click on the "Reply" button below my reply.

    Feel free to ask back any questions.

    Please download the PC Health Check from the link below, install it, and see which requirements your computer meets and which it doesn't.

    https://aka.ms/GetPCHealthCheckApp

    Share a screenshot of the result. Use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool.

    I await your reply. Click on the "Reply" button below my reply.

    Sorry for the delay in reply. I've been offline.

    This is the best procedure to fix this problem. In similar situations I had in the past, while doing other procedures, such as running the DISM and SFC commands, I got the same error code (0x800f081f).

    Did you have any problems performing the procedure? If yes, can you give details?

    If you have concerns about this procedure, you don't need to. Although this procedure reinstalls Windows, it allows you to keep your settings, applications, and files. Therefore, all your data will be kept. It's a painless procedure.

    If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Click on the "Reply" button below my reply.
