Quick Access not showing in navigation pane since Windows 11 update [Solutions]

Question

THE PROBLEM:

When I opened File Explorer the Quick Access folder option was missing from the navigation panel on the left.

How do I re-enable Quick Access to the left part of the navigation pane?

Problem is looking like this (notice that there are only 'Recommended', 'Favorites' and 'Recent' sections):

Multiple possible answers:

a) UNCHECK SHOW ALL FOLDERS

1. Right-click on free space in the left navigation pane to open context menu

2. Uncheck 'Show all folders'
3. Result (Quick Access is shown again in the left navigation pane)

B) DISABLE RECOMMENDED SECTION

1. Click the three dots in the command bar and select 'Options'

2. Uncheck 'Show recommended section'

3. Result (Now when 'Home' is selected Quick Access is shown to the right)

Seems like it might be a way to create a new quick accessing and populate it anew. But my old quick access list which I've maintain for years seems to be completely gone. Of course, this is better than nothing but why would Microsoft do this?

Planner J - You are my hero! Why is it that MICROSOFT never bothered to explain how to get this back when you did it just by unclicking an option?

You mention that you made sure the dialogues looked exactly the same as mine, however it is important to uncheck the 'Show all Folders'.

Maybe you are just missing this? Otherwise I don't know what exactly could cause it to not work for you
