    Hello. This is Emily.

download this free tool: https://learn.microsoft.com/sysinternals/downlo... click Run now from Sysinternals Live. It should download the file. You can go ahead and run it. Then use the spyglass icon to search for "task.vbs" and see if it finds any. If so, you can right click and delete. Then on the next startup, you should not encounter this pop-up again.

If you cannot find it. Go to the scheduled task tab. Find anything that is highlighted that says file not found. You can right click to delete those.

Let me know how it works.

Could you share an Autoruns log?

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/autoruns

    • Unzip and run Autoruns64.exe
    • Accept the license agreement
    • When it finishes scanning, press Ctrl + S and save the log in the default *.arn format
    • Share the log on OneDrive, Google Drive, or a similar file sharing service
    • Post the share link
