My laptop was working fine until yesterday, But suddenly when i try charging it the battery does not go up neither it decreases. I’m confused on what to do any advice would be helpful.( this is a new laptop and charger so im sure the issue is not that)

Sorry, I know the heading of this instruction is for Windows 11, but the instruction is the same for Windows 10.
The computer doesn’t turn off but the battery percentage isn’t increasing and when I take it out the battery it keeps decreasing. I’m using windows 10 so I can’t do that
