ive tried but nothing seems to work, it may be a physical issue. when creating a new battery report today capacity seems to have increase slightly. could temperature be affecting the battery?
sudden decrease of battery capacity
over night battery report shows that battery has lost alot, from 49000mWh to now 28000mWh, design capacity 58000, about two hundred charge cycles, im not sure if a 21000mWh drop overnight is normal but im not sure. what could have caused this and or how could i prevent this from happening in the future, what do i do now.

2024-08-01T10:24:17+00:00 Hi Simon, thank you for that information, as per checking the battery report, seems that the battery maximum capacity is dropping this might be due to wear and tear of the battery or just a battery driver miscalibration, and for us to eliminate any software-related issues, kindly follow the steps below:
Method 1. Reinstall Battery Drivers (Skip this process if you have already tried to uninstall all drivers under the batteries)
-Press the Windows key + X
-Go to Device Manager
-Expand the Batteries
-Right-click then uninstall all drivers there
-Restart the PC and check it again
Method 2. Restore default power options
-Press Windows key + R then type:
powercfg -restoredefaultschemes
-Restart the PC and check.
Method 3. Run power, Troubleshooter
- Press Windows key + R then type:
msdt.exe /id PowerDiagnostic
- Click OK then follow the prompts to run the power troubleshooter.
-Restart the device after.
Note: If the issue persists, I suggest contacting a local technician to physically check the device for any hardware-related issues in particular to your battery.
