Discord not installing

Question

Im having trouble installing discord on my new pc. I keep getting "installation has failed" errors and "Javascript error occured in the main process"

I have deleted files from Roaming and Local in hopes of fixing the problem - this has not fixed it.

I have tried to run the setup file as an administrator - no luck

Im getting really stressed out as to why this wont work.

Disabled windows search in services.msc, which solved the problem.

Performed another SFC /scannow - 100% complete.

Will restart computer and attempt to install discord again.
