JSON value not found error when attempting backup of Bitlocker recovery info to Entra ID

I'm having an issue on multiple Entra ID joined (not hybrid joined) Windows 11 Enterprise 23H2 endpoints failing to back up the Bitlocker recovery information to Entra ID/Intune.

Here is the on-screen error displayed when trying to do this backup through the UI.

This then creates 2 events in the Event log under "Application & Services Logs / Microsoft / Bitlocker-API / Management" both with Event ID 846. See the 2 events created using these 2 links (images are failing upload for reasons best known to itself).

I've already looked extensively at various ways to resolve this issue:

  • Running various troubleshooters
  • sfc /scannow & dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
  • chkdsk
  • Decrypting and re-encrypting the drive
  • Reinstalling the OS

Any help you can offer here would be greatly appreciated.
