Undefined Bitlocker Error

Question

Hello Microsoft ,Yesterday I got a problem in by Dell Inspiron laptop having windows 10. Usually I was Downloading Cricket 07 From Ocean of Games Site.

According to the tutorial I got from them. It was to disable all the antivirus and security for running exe file which I extracted from that. Hence it was my biggest mistake.

Though it was running for few second but after clicking multiple times. It stopped. I somehow managed to delete that. Though my antivirus was saying that it is worm vsb script I don't no what. But yeah I somehow opened my antivirus again.

And after restarting my pc I got to know that all my external drives was locked showing yellow lock 🔐 on that. I clicked multiple times but it never responded.

Showing that unknown Bitlocker Error.

Now my security centre is also not working as well as I am not able to access virus and threat protection but my external antivirus software is working nice.

And hence it was my biggest mistake I suppose.

My C drive is working nice but my d e f drive are locked but I don't have any Bitlocker in my pc I don't how it happened. I watched all tutorials and articles from Google but it couldn't helped.

Is there anything to resolve or to get my data back?

Please provide a screenshot of the error you get when you try to format the drive.

If you cannot get the Bitlocker key, then access to your data on that drive is not possible, because the encryption is too strong.

When I format my drive it says that Drive can't Be formatted. And what about my personal data locked in that drive?

The cracked game may be responsible for Bitlocker being enabled, they do contain many types of malware.

What error do you get when you try to format the drive, please provide a screenshot of that.

But I don't have Bitlocker on my pc what to do in that case. Nor do I have Bitlocker recovery key. I am suprised that if my computer doesn't have anything related to Bitlocker then how my drives got locked in that case. Is something preventing me to access that. And Surprisingly I am not able to format my drive also.

Downloading cracked games is a really bad idea, they are nearly always wrapped in malware and your system was infected from that, any game installer that asks you to disable Windows security is infected.

Go to your Microsoft account on this link to see if the Bitlocker key is available there, if the key is not available there, then sadly, there is no way to access the encrypted drives, the encryption is too strong, the only way to remove Bitlocker is to format the drive.
