Hi IAteYourCookiez,
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
I'm Hahn and I'm here to help you with your concern.
It looks like you're facing a critical error with your computer's boot process. The winload.efi error (0xc00000e9) typically indicates a problem with your system's boot configuration or a corrupted system file. Since you've already tried several troubleshooting steps without success, here are some additional suggestions you can try:
- Safe mode starts Windows in a basic state, using a limited set of files and drivers. If a problem doesn't happen in safe mode, this means that default settings and basic device drivers aren't causing the issue. Observing Windows in safe mode enables you to narrow down the source of a problem, and can help you troubleshoot problems on your PC. Start your PC in safe mode in Windows - Microsoft Support
- Run Startup Repair:
- Boot your computer from a Windows installation USB/DVD.
- Choose the "Repair your computer" option.
- Select "Troubleshoot" > "Advanced options" > "Startup Repair" and follow the on-screen instructions to attempt automatic repair.
- Check Disk for Errors:
- Boot into the Windows recovery environment or use the installation media to access Command Prompt.
- Run the command
chkdsk /f /rto scan and repair any file system errors on your hard drive.
Disclaimer: Running chkdsk can check the file system and file system metadata of a volume for logical and physical errors. To avoid any trouble for you, do not cancel or interrupt chkdsk, and back up important data.
- Try booting your computer using the Windows installation media and select the "Repair your computer" option. Then, select Troubleshooting > Advanced Options > Command Prompt and run the following command:
bootrec/fixmbr
bootrec/fixboot
bootrec /rebuildbcd
- Let’s try performing an in-place install or in-place upgrade which will refresh your Windows files and operating system without removing files or applications. That being said, we always recommend that if you have important data, you should back it up before making large system changes. If you want to back up your data first, please do so. Once you are done backing up, you can follow the steps in the following guides: How to perform an In-place Upgrade with Windows 10 Step-by-Step Guide - Microsoft Community
Disclaimer: Please ensure that you backup any important data, including Documents, Pictures, Videos, and more.
I hope this helps. If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.
Your Sincerely
