I attempted it within the folder the Temp folder itself, as well as the programs folder, both of which didn't help. Is it possible that Windows 11 was downloaded incorrectly by the manufacturer? If so what steps can I take to correct the download?

I keep gettiing the error 0x80070660 when attempting to download "Microsoft .NET SDK 8.0.201." Been trying for the past few hours but can't get it to work. Additionally, I tried donwloading .NET through Visual Studio Installer which didn't work either. Anytime I try to download anything on VS Installer, I get "The Windows Installer Service is unavailable. Please restart your system and try again." A few restarts later and still nothing. Also, this is a new pc I'm on. Any insight is much apreciated!
